Food is always amazing especially the chicken salad cold plate! Staff is super sweet and very helpful! The menu is a little pricey though.

Very Friendly Good Food And Great Gift Shop

The store is just precious and the restaurant is equally as good with 4 dining rooms to choose from. They also offer Tea Parties which is perfect for this place.

Both my husband and myself went for dinner here a few years ago. The house is beautiful, something different, very quaint. The food was nothing special, the piece of pie for desert was tiny. The service was good, the people very friendly. I would like to go back again just for the atmosphere. I hope they are doing well, much nicer than the noisy big restaurant chains.

mixed bag--the hamburger steak with gravy (& mashed pot) and the hamburgers are very good and my husband likes their spagetti but the salads are very small and unappealing for our taste (as we are "salad people"); they do cute things for kids like have "tea parties" for birthdays; they have a nice gift shop; they have a good "tomato pudding" in season and a few other seasonal goodies; we weren't impressed with some of the other entrees or the night prices; but check it out just for the view of the old house if nothing else...........

Country cooking - simple & tasty - with really good desserts. Located in an old house, so there are several dining rooms. Fast, efficient & friendly service. The terrific little gift shop (inside & outside in a little building) is stocked with unique & tasteful items, such as women's clothing, jewelry, home decor, etc.

Great home cooking, country restaurant!

The portion and taste of breakfast was well worth its price. The ambiance of the front dining area is very comfortable and adorned with pictures and antiques--not cluttered at all. The gift shop is not overwhelmed with nic-nacs and overpriced imports; however, you do get the Cracker Barrel feel (without the anxiety of an overcrowded room, of course). Overall, for a first-time visit, the service was excellent and the house is absolutely beautiful.

Best Breakfast. My favorite hamburger place. The people are great and appreciate your business. The gift shop is wonderful. Reminds me of my old store ,(Wishing Well). She has a great selection.

My wife and I have eaten here several times while attending church group functions wth Piney Woods Friends Meeting. The owners are members of PWFM, and are really great people! The food is very much home style and always very hot n tasty! The wait staff are very friendly and courteous! The interior decor has maintained the historic feel of the house! The gift shop has several locally handcrafted items!
